Blog - Puddle Ducks help Bristol parents be BabySafe

Puddle Ducks Bristol owner, Sarah and teacher Jodie put their life-saving skills to good use on the 2^nd November at a BabySafe seminar delivered by Tesco and The Royal Life Saving Society UK. The Bristol seminar, which was the first of a series of seminars running throughout the country, invited members of the Tesco Baby and Toddler Club to learn about three key areas of baby safety – basic life-saving techniques, meningitis and what to look for car-safety hints and tips.

After a series of presentations, attendees were invited to practice CPR and choking techniques on baby manikins. Sarah said, “The event was really informative and it was great to be able to help parents learn what to do if a baby is choking or stops breathing. By having this hands-on experience, the chances are these parents will remember what to do if they are ever in this situation. It was great to put our life saving skills to good use.”
