Myself and Jo spent a great couple of days last week, with the lovely Lindsay Mann, franchisee for Puddle Ducks West Country.

Lindsay actually lives just outside Bristol, but her territory is south of there and covers much of Somerset, Wiltshire, North Dorset and the West Country.  We were lucky enough to watch her classes in a beautiful location in Waterrow near Taunton.  Followed by a wonderful lunch in the local pub, The Rock Inn.  Do try it if you are down there - the soup was delicious!

What a lovely, lovely part of the world, and Sat Nav certainly made sure we fully appreciated all the tiny villages and hamlets around Waterrow!  Trust me - Lindsay's directions are far better - that will teach us to be lazy and not read them before we set off!

The following day we spent with Lindsay in her office - cups of tea, chocolate biscuits and homegrown apples to take home.  Lovely!  Of course, we all worked hard too, discussing her activities to date, and her plans for the future as well as ideas for the whole Puddle Ducks network.

Lindsay has been running Puddle Ducks in the West Country for just a few months, but already things are looking pretty exciting for her.  Wonderful Tasche is joining her as as teacher later this term and she is hoping to open up a few more pools further afield too.

If you live in Lindsay's territory - I'm jealous.  It's SO beautiful!  And sunnier than Cheshire!  And it is exciting times for Puddle Ducks there too - Lindsay has great plans and we are confident she will turn them into reality.  If you are a West Country baby swimmer please do tell us all about it...
