Aqua Natal Classes for Pregnancy

Relaxing aqua natal classes are perfect for you and your bump

September will be an exciting month as we launch our first Puddle Ducks Aqua Natal classes.  We’ve spent months preparing and designing the perfect programme and are so excited that we are nearly there.

Born from a desire to share our love of water with you and your baby as soon as possible, these classes are designed for all stages of pregnancy.  They will combine relaxation with cardiovascular exercise, the perfect physical preparation for labour in the soothing and cool comforts of water.

As always, Puddle Ducks offers a holistic approach to mental and physical well-being and our teachers are highly trained to understand the emotions and changes that you are experiencing.

One of the huge benefits of baby swimming is the bonding experience with your baby... and we know that you will enjoy that same sense of well-being and bonding with your bump as soon as you are supported by the water.

Through the use of gentle exercises we will introduce you to movements in the water which can also be used with your baby after the birth.  We will give you the opportunity to relax and understand how your body moves and reacts to water, in preparation for swimming with your baby.  We promise to pleasantly surprise you with the immense benefits you will experience, as well as the fun you will have in the class.

Hormones called endorphins are produced when we are happy and it is possible to elevate the levels of these ‘happy hormones’ through exercise.  They suppress pain and help us feel relaxed which in turn relaxes our baby.  We will ensure you produce lots of these to help you prepare for labour, birth and life after birth!

Classes are being offered around the country – if you are interested, please contact your local franchisee who will be happy to tell you where the nearest class is.
