Back to School Swimming!

Ooh - exciting times - the start of the New School Year.  We hope you have all come back feeling totally refreshed and raring to start the new term.

September is traditionally "Back to School" time - so of course we are especially keen to promote back to school swimming.  It is incredibly sad that there are still hundreds of children who leave primary school unable to swim, despite swimming lessons now forming part of the National curriculum.  Unbelievably, a report in the Times Educational Supplement quoted in the Daily Main identified that only one 11 year old in six is able to swim 25m!

In Puddle Ducks classes the skills, fun and confidence of our babies and preschoolers are developed so that our primary school children are able to swim several hundred metres - beautifully.  These classes are currently run in Mid Cheshire and launching in Bristol and Bath this term.  We are planning to roll out these classes to more franchises during the year.

After her training, Sarah, franchisee from Bristol said "I was very impressed with the programme and the way the classes are structured to ensure every child is well prepared.  I will be practising my own strokes after the training as the style is indeed beautiful!"
