Celebrating the Queen's Diamond Jubilee... with a duck

Queen Jubilee Duck

To celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee this Saturday, we’ve got some gorgeous Queen Ducks (of course – you know how much we all love ducks) to give away!

What an amazing Ambassador the Queen has been, and continues to be, for our country.  How wonderful that we can celebrate both her Jubilee and the Olympics in the same summer – what a Great British Summer we’re having?  We will never see another one like it in our lifetime, I am sure.  I absolutely love all the Union Jack bunting around and suddenly seem drawn to wear all the red, white and blue clothing in my wardrobe!

I am totally in awe of how the Queen has had the grace and stamina to continue her role for sixty years.  Don’t you think these words in her Jubilee message are lovely: “In this special year, as I dedicate myself anew to your service, I hope we will all be reminded of the power of togetherness and the convening strength of family, friendship and good neighbourliness...”?

Are you doing anything to celebrate the Jubilee with family, friends or neighbours?

To spread a little “Jubilee cheer” in your homes we’ve got three “Queen” ducks to give away.  Aren’t they gorgeous?  For a chance to win one, just post a comment on the bottom of this blog telling us what you are doing to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee this weekend (and tell us where you swim with Puddle Ducks so we can find your address quickly).

Competition closes at 10am on Friday 1st June, and we’ll draw three winners out of the hat and post them first class immediately.  Winners will be announced on Facebook and Twitter.  Hopefully your Queen Ducks will arrive in time for bath-time on Saturday evening!

I can’t wait to hear what you will all be doing!  Whatever it is, have a wonderful, wonderful bank holiday and enjoy all the red, white and blue patriotic fun!

Hi Puddleducks! Noah & Isaac Hawksworth (Kicker & Floatie - Derby) have such a fun packed Jubilee weekend coming up I'm not sure there is enough space to leave a comment! Saturday is our street party with buffet, BBQ, races, bouncy castle and disco. Sunday will be at Grandma & Grandad's in "Royal" Leamington Spa where Grandma has some Jubilee goodies for us. There will also be a trip to the Pump Room gardens to join in with the town's celebration fete. Grandma has also promised Noah & his cousins Union Jack face painting! On Monday we will watch the Jubilee Concert on tv, especially as Mummy & Daddy have won tickets to it. We can't believe they get to walk through Buckingham Palace & have a picnic in the Queen's back garden!

Hi Puddle Ducks Mid Cheshire,
Harry and Daisy have already started their Jubilee celebrations at school and nursery, they have so far enjoyed a red, white and blue day and a fancy dress party, tomorrow there is a Queen and King fancy dress day with a crown competition and a picnic, so our house is full of gold card, glitter and sparkles galore.
Our family Jubilee weekend will commence on Saturday making cupcakes decorated with pictures of the Queen which we bought on the internet, we will be hanging out the buntings and preparing for an afternoon tea party which will be held at our house on the Sunday with all our family visiting from Manchester, we are all dressing up in red, white and blue and wearing crowns, there will be face painting and lots of other surprises in store.
On the Monday we are attending a picnic party in the park with live music, fireworks and a beacon being lit, we are very prepared and bought a gazebo, camping chairs and table.
We are all very excited as this is a very special event to celebrate and we are lucky to be able to celebrate with our family TOGETHER! We hope everyone else has a fantastic weekend and has lots of fun x

Dan started his Jubilee celebrations a few days early wearing his patriotic trunks for swimming. Now we are off to the seaside to his Nannan and Grandads caravan for our first family seaside weekend away with Kiera dog. We've been assured that Grandad has already decorated the caravan up for Dan who also celebrates his 6 month birthday tomorrow and thinks it is very nice of this Queen lady to throw such a big party for him.
