About the pool
Location: The Village Hotel, South Leeds.
Exclusivity: Puddle Ducks use a roped off area of the pool, the remainder of the pool is open to leisure club members.
Changing rooms: One changing room for females and another for males with direct access to pool. There is also a Family changing room, which is heated, and consists changing areas and play pens with communal changing and lockers.
Poolside Assistant: Verity and Emily are the Puddle Ducks poolside assistant's, and an extra lifeguard on duty for the health club members.
Pool Temp: 29.5 - 30oC
Pool Dimensions: 25m swimming pool, Puddle Ducks use a 10 x 6 m area that is roped off.
Depth: 1.2 metres, same level throughout.
Max Preschool Class Ratios: 8 children/adult pairs : 1 teacher
Parking: Large customer car park.
Other: Spectators can watch from reception through large glass window, none on poolside unless prior permission is granted. A register will need to completed at reception prior to access being granted. The poolside assistant will also take a register. Baby wetsuits are recommended for children under the age of 1 year.

Sara Haywood
Sara took her own daughter to baby swimming lessons and they both enjoyed it so much that Sara decided to train to become a teacher.
She has always loved swimming and is very passionate about babies and children learning to swim from a young age. It has enormous health benefits for baby and parent as well as being a very important life saving skill. Sara looks forward to meeting all her new Puddle Ducks!
Danielle
Danielle first started attending Puddle Ducks classes with her son Ewan. After seeing his progression and confidence grow so much, she decided to become a Puddle Ducks teacher. She has spent the last 10 years working in the fitness industry and took this as the next step in her career. She is looking forward to watching the development and progression of the children as they become ‘Puddle Ducks’.
Faye Burrell
Faye is the Franchisee in Wakefield. She has worked as a midwife for 10 years and has 2 young children; Laila aged 4 and Lucas aged 3. She has always loved the water and believes greatly in the benefits of introducing swimming at early age. She is very passionate about her job.
