About the pool

Location: Escape Zone, (Sporting Lodge Inns hotel) Warrington Road, Leigh
Exclusivity: Puddle Ducks have roped off area during hire times
Changing rooms: One changing room for females and one for males with direct access to pool
Poolside Assistant: There is no Puddle Ducks poolside assistant
Pool Temp: 30-31^oC
Pool Dimensions: 12 metres by 5 metres
Depth: 1.2 metres
Max Preschool Class Ratios: 8 children/adult pairs:1 teacher
Parking: There is car parking at the leisure club and if full there is more space at the hotel to the right of the leisure club
Other: Once you have parked your car enter via the main entrance to the leisure club and sign in with reception who will direct you to the changing rooms. (Look out for the Puddle Ducks A frame sign outside the door)

About the teachers

Tracey Hargraves

I am very proud and excited to be the owner of Puddle Ducks South Lancashire. Before becoming a Puddle Ducks teacher I was an accountant and decided that my days were too short and I wanted to give something back to others. By becoming a teacher I can enjoy the swimming experience of the babies and toddlers and watch them learn to swim and also have fun and hopefully see lots of smiles.

Alison Higham

Before having my son Charlie in May 2010, I was a Regional Business Manager in the private healthcare sector. Swimming has always been one of my favourite forms of exercise along with practicing Shotokan karate to black belt level and I hope to pass this enjoyment onto the children I teach. I first took my son to Puddleducks as a parent and loved it so much; I decided to become a teacher. I’m passionate about my role as a Swimming Teacher for Puddleducks, South Lancashire and I’m constantly amazed by the progress our little Puddle Ducks make each time I see them.
