About the pool

Location: Presfield School, Preston New Road, Southport, PR9 8PA
Exclusivity: Puddle Ducks have exclusive use during hire times
changing rooms: There is one large room for changing in and three small cubicles which can be used for males or females. All have direct access to the pool.
Poolside Assistant: There is a Puddle Ducks poolside assistant
Pool Temp: 33-34^oC
Pool Dimensions: 5.9m by 5.9m
Depth: 0.8 metres graduating to 1.3metres
Max Preschool Class Ratios: 6 children/adult pairs:1 teacher
Parking: can park anywhere on the site which is shared with Larkfield primary and nursery school. Must not block any emergency access spaces. If the car park is full, there is parking on surrounding streets but not the main road.
Other: Upon entrance to the building will need to inform reception that you are with the baby swimming and they will direct you to the pool which is in the school building. A register will be taken by the poolside assistant. Please avoid bringing in pushchairs and car seats.

I am very proud and excited to be the owner of Puddle Ducks South Lancashire. Before becoming a Puddle Ducks teacher I was an accountant and decided that my days were too short and I wanted to give something back to others. By becoming a teacher I can enjoy the swimming experience of the babies and toddlers and watch them learn to swim and also have fun and hopefully see lots of smiles.
