When I was at school I knew I wanted to be an accountant and all my education was tailored to this. I did a degree in Business Finance and Economics, got a job in accounting and qualified as a Chartered Accountant.
I worked in Manchester City Centre and eventually decided Audit was not for me so got a job within a manufacturing company.
Then my life changed when I had Imogen and we had our lovely 9 months maternity together doing lots of activities including Puddle Ducks - and we both were hooked. When Euan came along two years later it was natural for him to start Puddle Ducks as well.
Life with two children and a high powered accounting job was very hard and I decided that I wanted to find something more family-friendly. I knew the Puddle Ducks programme, so I knew it worked and was very child-friendly.
After a great initial meeting with Jo and Tracy I came away buzzing with enthusiasm and decided this was for me. Buying the South Lancashire Franchise has been the best thing I could have done - I run a fabulous business and the children are really happy to still get their "mummy days".
