Our teachers
Many of our teachers are parents who have been to Puddle Ducks and want to share their passion with others.
All teachers follow a rigorous in-house training programme, during which time they develop their own teaching confidence and style, integrating the practises and philosophy that we have developed. Our teachers are highly trained to focus on the individual needs of each child or parent-baby pair. They understand not only the development of swimming techniques but are also knowledgeable about child and toddler physiology and general development.
We regularly share ideas, new developments and best practise through observations and feedback, regular meetings and training sessions.
All teachers are qualified with the Swimming Teachers' Association and the Royal Life Saving Society. We work closely with each of these organisations to ensure we follow best practice and maintain the highest standards.
We are fully insured.
It is our aim that all franchises must be acredited with the STAMARK award within two years of launch. Whilst the acreditation is not legally enforcible, it certainly indicates that we run our business to the highest of standards and adopting best practices. It also gives our customers even more re-assurance that we are a reputable organisation. So far all acreditations have received the highest grade available - a distinction.
