Swimming confidently and instinctively
“We were on holiday by the pool and Alice (22 months) was playing near by, within a split second of looking away she had fell into the pool. As we ran towards her she was already turning herself around towards the poolside and was reaching up to hold onto the side where we were able to pull her out to safety. We believe that her actions, which certainly seem to have become instinctive to her, definitely saved her from a much more serious situation and it was clear that they were the actions that she learns at the Puddle Ducks classes. We have always believed that teaching our girls water skills from as young an age as possible was an absolute must. Her older sister Lily (age 4½) is now very confident in the water, and Alice is certainly showing the all right signs. I firmly put this down to the Puddle Ducks training (though perhaps being half Australian helps!). Alice's experience really put it in perspective for me and I feel confident now that whatever unintended water situation arises my girls are both equipped with the skills to get out of it as best possible. We are very grateful for all the effort and expertise the staff at Puddle Ducks has put into training them over the last 4 years. Keep it up!”
