Puddle's Page
Hi, I'm Puddle the Duck and I've drawn a picture of me for you to "click on and print", then colour in. Come back to this page soon as I will be adding some more things for you to do! Happy colouring!
Do any of you have an amazing story to tell us like Olivia and Alice? We'd love to hear from you:
“We were on holiday by the pool and Alice (22 months)
was playing near by, within a split second of looking away she had
fell into the pool. As we ran towards her she was already turning
herself around towards the poolside and was reaching up to hold
onto the side where we were able to pull her out to safety. We
believe that her actions, which certainly seem to have become
instinctive to her, definitely saved her from a much more serious
situation and it was clear that they were the actions that she
learns at the Puddle Ducks classes. We have always believed that
teaching our girls water skills from as young an age as possible
was an absolute must. Her older sister Lily (age 4½) is now
very confident in the water, and Alice is certainly showing the all
right signs. I firmly put this down to the Puddle Ducks training
(though perhaps being half Australian helps!). Alice's
experience really put it in perspective for me and I feel confident
now that whatever unintended water situation arises my girls are
both equipped with the skills to get out of it as best possible. We
are very grateful for all the effort and expertise the staff at
Puddle Ducks has put into training them over the last 4 years. Keep
it up!”

“Olivia fell in the Bridgewater canal today and
I'm sure Puddle Ducks made a big difference to how it went. We
live on the towpath side and have walked beside the canal many many
times with Olivia with no problems. Peter and I knew she'd fall
in one day and today was the day. We were playing a run and catch
up game and she just veered towards the water and plop, in she
went. After a few seconds of not seeing her as she sank - I saw her
surface and jumped in to push her out just like in the pool. She
was crying but not spluttering or coughing at all! It was scary and
I'll probably wake up in a cold sweat in the night thinking it
but I'm sure Puddle Ducks gave me the confidence to half expect
what did actually happen - i.e. that she'd surface and I would
be able to get her out. We are only talking a matter of seconds but
without your classes it could have been very different. I'm
just so pleased we have kept coming.”
