Jay is the very proud owner of the Puddle Ducks franchise for Chester, Wirral and North Wales. Swimming has always been a huge part of her life. At a young age, Jay held the Welsh records for 50 meters Butterfly competing in national galas throughout her younger years. Eventually she progressed into swimming teaching and coaching whilst under taking a degree in Psychology and Neuroscience at Liverpool University. After her degree she then had a career in the medical industry before taking on the franchise in 2017, following the birth of her daughter Amber.

Donna's lessons are fun, fun, fun, and filled with charisma! We guarantee you and your little one will leave with a smile on your face. There is also a very serious side to Donna who is dedicated to getting the most from your child's swimming time with us in the water. Donna supports the development of our newer teachers while making sure our entire team are well supported and consistently delivering top quality lessons time after time.
Outside of work, Donna loves to travel, socialise and shop! Her favourite place is Las Vegas. Donna's two boys and Bulldog Cilla also keep her very busy and you will no doubt hear all about them in class!

Lead Senior Teacher - Baby and Pre-School Teacher and Swim Academy Teacher (with additional Diploma qualification)
Roshene is a Puddle Ducks mum through and through. All three of her children have learnt to swim at Puddle Ducks starting when they were tiny babies. She left her career in product development to start teaching as she loved the lessons so much.
Roshene is a popular teacher and approaches her lessons with lots of structure, planning and progression for her swimmers; to get the best out of their swims. Roshene has her Level 3 Baby and Pre School Swimming Teaching Diploma which takes baby swimming to a whole new level with her understanding, knowledge and ability to adapt and individualise each lesson to our swimmers' needs.
Roshene trains, develops and assesses our new and existing teachers to make sure all our Puddle Ducks teachers deliver first class lessons week in, week out.
Roshene is originally from South Africa and enjoys the adventures of travelling.

Always there to greet you with a wide smile, with 4 of her own young children Heather comes with boundless love, empathy and a nurturing nature.
Heather started off at Puddle Ducks as a Poolside Assistant and then progressed into a teaching role after completing all of her national and Puddle Ducks teaching qualifications. With a fitness and swimming club background, Heather has a real love for water and an even bigger love for all of our children. Heather is also a valued member our office and customer service team.

Her favourite part of the job is chatting to our brand new Floaties' parents, answering all their questions and getting them ready to start their journey with Puddle Ducks. Steph finds this super exciting!
In her spare time, you'll find her freezing on a football field, cheering on her two boys!

Marketing Manager
Lindsey is our freelance creative, with her own communications and events business.
Lindsey started her journey with Puddle Ducks as a poolside assistant and is now supporting all things marketing!
She has three little boys, all swimming with Puddle Ducks (and often the faces of socials!), and two dogs. In any spare time she finds, she also runs a local charity that her and her partner founded.

Paula discovered the wonderful world of Puddle Ducks when her daughter was just 8 weeks old before she then had twins and trained to be a Puddle Ducks teacher seven years ago.
Always prepared, Paula is compassionate and incredibly informative during her lessons - striving for the best for you and your little ones to achieve their goals.
Paula also an obsession with skiing, campervans and loves the great outdoors!

Michelle is a Puddle Ducks mum through and through. Both of Michelle's children have been swimming with us since Floaties and as a family have loved Puddle Ducks lessons for the last 7 years. Michelle recently trained to be a Puddle Ducks teacher after over 300 hours of intense training and passed her assessments with excellence. Incredibly thorough, technically minded, empathetic and professional Michelle fills parents with confidence and knowledge to swim with their children to the best of their ability.

Colin is originally from Scotland, moved to Northern Ireland and now lives on the Wirral! Colin has been a Swim Teacher for approximately 13 years and is also an Open Water Swimming Coach.
Colin likes to cycling, swim and, of course, loves his holidays! If there’s word of a karaoke..he's in! Colin is married with three grown up boys and one daughter.

Beth is a Puddle Ducks Mum, both of her children started in Floaties at just a few weeks old and are now in Swim Academy.
Beth qualified as a registered general nurse in 2010 and currently works in the community as an NHS district nurse. Having talked for many years about joining the Puddle Ducks' team, Beth finally made the jump and trained to become a BPS teacher in 2022 and she couldn't be happier!
Juggling both jobs, Beth certainly enjoys a challenge and is always motivated to learn new skills. She is a trained reflexologist and spent some time practicing aesthetics. Out of work Beth enjoys spending time with her family, camping and having a good old boogie on the dance floor!

Katrina joined our Puddle Ducks team after attending lessons with her new baby. A Duke of Edinburgh senior leader with a wealth of coaching experience and enthusiasm, Katrina has a smile and laugh which brightens up the room!
Outside work Katrina is a superb hockey goalkeeper, loves playing sport and socialising with friends and family.

Helen first came across Puddle Ducks when her eldest was a baby. She has always loved swimming and fell in love with Puddle Ducks whilst attending classes with both her children. As her children progressed through the levels she always thought about how much of a fantastic job it must be.
After being a childminder for 9 years Helen decided it was time for a change and Puddle Ducks was where she wanted to be!
She absolutely loves teaching her classes and seeing the children and parents confidence grow each week. Listening to the stories that the children choose to share and celebrating their achievements makes the job all the more special.
When not in the pool, Helen enjoys family time, walking her dog and trips away in the caravan!

Jo is our fab Pool Side Assistant in Ellesmere Port and Mercure Abbots Well Hotel. Previously a Teaching Assistant in a primary school, Jo loves being around kids and keeps the pool running tickety boo to make sure our Puddle Ducks are well looked after at the pool at all times.
Outside of work, Jo loves to go on holiday, eat out and socialise with friends and family. She is a Londoner who married a Northerner(!!) and has a daughter.

Charlotte is a lovely, smiley lady and always there to welcome our swimmers at Queens school. She has just finished her A Levels and is now taking a gap year before carrying on within her studying at University. Charlotte really enjoys being able to interact with our parents and children and watching their progression.
Outside of work Charlotte has a passion for photography.

Poolside Assistant
From swimming at an early age and then progressing to being a lifeguard and then water sports instructor, swimming has been always part of Armena’s life. Moving to Athens from the island she grew up, to continue her studies, Armena then started working as a swimming teacher for Olympiakos, the biggest and best swimming club in Greece and other clubs including Panionios.
In 2012 Armena became Mum to Ilektra and started to teach her swimming skills from one month old.
In 2018 they moved to UK and worked to gained her swimming qualifications from ground up, to be able to start working again as a swimming teacher… and here we are now!

For Jessica, sports has always been her ‘thing’ for as long as she can remember, especially football and tennis. She also started swimming when she was six years old and has loved it over since. She is currently in her first year of A-Levels, studying maths, physics and geography.
Jessica is wonderful at being able to interact with the little children and watch them progress through their swimming journey, it’s what Jessica says makes her job so enjoyable!

In her free time Sasha's hobbies include dance and learning languages. She grew up in Bangkok, Thailand which is where she first learn to swim and joined her school’s swim team.
Sasha's favourite thing about her job is getting to interact with the kids and making sure that their sessions are fun from the moment they walk through the door until the moment they leave!
