As such we have been working with the National Deaf Children's Society to ensure that we understand the needs of deaf children, who may otherwise have difficulty accessing swimming opportunities.
Research suggests that a third of deaf 12-year-olds can't swim 10 meteres, so we are pleased to be supporting young deaf people in the hope helping of helping them overcome barriers. By making small changes to our lessons, we can make them fully inclusive.
