Every month our teachers nominate their Swimming Star of the Month!
Well done to the following children who have been nominated in May 2019.
Georgia, who swims with us in our Baby & Preschool classes at Owston Hall Hotel, nominated by teacher Clair. "Georgia your confidence has grown so much in the last few weeks! Brilliant jumping, super reaching arms and face down bubbles. Keep going you are amazing. I’m so proud of you."
Isaac, who swims with us in our Baby & Preschool classes at Hilltop School, nominated by teacher Madi. "What a journey Isaac has had over the last few months! He has gone from not even wanting to enter the pool, to now trying absolutely every activity with a huge smile on his face! He now swims independently on woggles, he tries face down bubbles, jumping and underwater swims! I couldn’t be prouder! You deserve this!"
Luna, who swims with us in our Baby & Preschool classes at Aegir School, nominated by teacher Sarah. "Luna has always been a very happy confident swimmer but this last few weeks she is absolutely amazing mum and myself. Her head down swims with reaching arms and kicking legs have now progressed to jumping and straight into a lovely swim. Luna's smiling and laughing shows she loves her swimming lessons each week. Luna I am proud to be your teacher!"
Edward, who swims with us in our Baby & Preschool classes at Willow Lodge, nominated by teacher Sally. "For always being an enthusiastic and confident participant in our Dippers lessons - particularly when jumping in!"
Marleigh, who swims with us in our Baby & Preschool classes at Willow Lodge, nominated by teacher Lauren. "Marleigh has done such super swimming lately, achieving her 10m so effortlessly. She’s constantly confident and happy in the pool, and willing to try anything. Her independent back swim is fantastic! Be so proud of yourself Marleigh!!"
Lydia, who swims with us in our Baby & Preschool classes at Epworth Swimming Pool, nominated by teacher Gill. "Lydia has just blossomed over the last month into a head down swimming dipper attempting to breath. It just shows some extra time in the pool on holiday has helped consolidate all she’s been trying in her classes."
Dexter, who swims with us in our Baby & Preschool classes at John Whitgift Academy, nominated by teacher Nikki. "Dexter has just amazed me this term. He has always had his own mind (which I love) and not wanted to do some activities because of it. But this term he has tackled everything. Turning under the water the other week was brilliant and he started to re-aline his body to swim back to mum. Well done Dexter keep trying hard"
