All you need to know about Bridgewood Manor: A Chatham based swimming pool from which we run our Baby & Pre-School swimming lessons. Weekday classes here are suitable for babies from birth, toddlers and children up to the age of 5 years old. Our expert swimming Teachers tailor the lessons to progress every individual at their own pace. Location: Bridgewood Manor Hotel, Walderslade Woods, Nr Blue Bell Hill, ME5 9AX
Parking & Directions: Please park on the left hand side of the car park. Head to Reception, turn right and then right again into the Spa. You will need to sign in at the Spa Reception, you can then walk into the pool area and the changing rooms are on your left.
From Sittingbourne, follow M2 and exit at junction 3 and continue on the A229 towards Chatham. At the roundabout take the first exit towards A229 and Chatham, at the next roundabout take the third exit onto A229 towards Chatham and Rochester. Then keep left on the Maidstone Road, at the roundabout take the third exit onto Walderslade Woods and turn left into the Hotel.
From Rochester, follow M2 and exit and junction 3 and continue on the A229 towards Maidstone. At the roundabout take the first exit towards Walderslade and Lords Wood and then turn left onto Walderslade Woods. Use the roundabout to make a U-turn and then turn left into the Hotel.

Essential Information
- A well-fitting neoprene swim nappy must be worn with a disposable swim nappy or one of our environmentally friendly NappyWraps & Liners underneath if your child is in Floaties, Splashers or Kickers and in other programmes if they are not yet fully potty/toilet trained. - Please take all nappies and swim nappies home with you. Your Teacher can provide you with a nappy bag on request.

Technical Information
- Poolside Assistant: Team members from Bridgewood Manor are available on-site.
- Pool Temp: 29°C - 30°C. Younger babies / toddlers may benefit from using a body-warmer when swimming here.
- Depth: 1.2 metres.
- Max Pre-School Class Ratios: 10 children/adult pairs: 1 teacher.
Spectators: No spectators are allowed at this pool. There is plenty of space for family and friends to wait in the Spa lounge, with a viewing window looking onto the pool.
Changing Rooms: Separate male, female and disabled changing rooms. Male and female changing areas have individual cubicles as well as a communal changing area. Lockers are available, you will need a £1 coin to use them which will be returned after use.
Exclusivity: Puddle Ducks have a rope to section a portion of the pool for hotel guests, if necessary. Other than this, Puddle Ducks have exclusive use of the swimming pool during hire times.
Mobile Phones: Please do not use your phones in the changing rooms.
