We would like to congratulate Helen who is our Teacher of the Term. The nomination from Helen, mum to Alice, bagged her the prize and was very well deserved.
Helen is one of our newer teachers but her enthusiasm and love for teaching has paid off as she received lots of nominations from parents who love her teaching style.
Helen, mum to Alice said: "I nominate Helen who teaches my daughter Alice at Millwood Primary School. Every week Alice loves the fun lessons and the variety, especially the float games. She shouts "HELLO HELEN" (she's 20 Months old) from the side of the pool and is constantly asking daily when "Alice, ready, jump" is.
"Helen is so enthusiastic and is really friendly, giving constant encouragement to everyone in the class - both kids and adults. I feel like Alice's confidence in the water has grown incredibly since starting with Helen and I'm sure she will be swimming in no time. It's all thanks to Helen, which is why she has to win this award."
