Congratulations to the lovely Zoe who was the winner of our Teacher of the term competition for Autumn 2018
Jane Costello, Mayor of Bingham, chose Zoe as the winner. She said...
"I chose this nomination as it jumped out at me when I read it. The nomination showed how this teacher had been a massive help to parents who are nervous to take their child swimming, increasing both the parent and the child's confidence. I have a friend who had very bad postnatal depression and know the hell she went through."
Take a read of the winning nomination from Mum …
My son and I love our swimming session on a Monday and Zoe is big part of that. Taking my son swimming was a challenge for myself, suffering from postnatal depression and being a first time mum, everything was so overwhelming. Puddle Ducks is the first group we have joined to get out the house and I am so thankful to Zoe for making this easier. Each week my anxieties about being in the water have reduced and each session my son is made to feel so special. Zoe ensures parents feel relaxed and that the children are safe and enjoying the lesson at the same time. Thank you Zoe, I hope you win.
What a lovely nomination! We'd like to say a massive thank you to mum for the winning nomination and all the other nominations for all our teachers and a HUGE well done to our winner Zoe.
Also a huge thank you to Jane for choosing the winning teacher of the term Autumn 2018.
