Stars of the Month - February

It's that time again!!!

Each month, we ask our teachers to nominate their Swimming Stars of the Month so a massive congratulations to our super star swimmers for February!!

Ava, who is in Swim Academy at West Gate School was nominated by her teacher Rebecca:

"Ava has been working really hard in class to improve her rolling to breath and alignment this past month. Every lesson, she comes to the pool determined to succeed, has wonderful manners and is a kind and loved member of her class. You are a fantastic swimmer, Ava - Well done!!"

Buddy, who is a Little Dipper at West Gate School was nominated by his teacher Emma:

"Buddy has come on so much this past month. His confidence and willingness to learn is amazing. I also really look forward to teaching him and seeing him as he always puts a big smile on my face. Well done Buddy, you are doing an awesome job!"

Matilda, who is a Little Dipper at The Key Health Club was nominated by her teacher Nikola:

"Matilda is a swimming star - when Matilda started swimming lessons with me she was a little hesitant but not anymore...she is now loving the water! I love teaching her, watching her grow in confidence week by week, and seeing her amazing progression. I always look forward to her showing me how she swims beautifully with her face in the water, just like a mermaid. Well done Matilda!"

Finley, who is in Swim Academy at The Key Health Club was nominated by his teacher Rachael:

"After initially being really nervous in the water, not putting his face in and holding hands to jump in, Finley is now progressing beautifully. He is now doing all those things without support and his confidence is growing every week.

He is really well behaved and polite and is an absolute pleasure to teach. I am really proud of how much progress he has made in just a few weeks."

Felicity, who is a Little Dipper at The Key Health Club was nominated by her teacher Rebecca:

"Felicity started with Puddle Ducks only 4 weeks ago and she came to her first lesson quite nervous. In just a few weeks she now comes to lessons with a lovely smile, will partake in all of the lesson and is blowing some amazing bubbles with her face in the water. I love watching her and Mum enjoying the lesson and I’m keen to see how she progresses to a great independent swimmer. Well done Felicity!"

Well done everyone - your certificates will be on their way to you very shortly! xx
