Stars of the Month - May

We have seen some fantastic swimming ……

Each month, we ask our teachers to nominate their Swimming Stars of the Month and for the month of May, we just want to say a huge thank you to everyone for your ongoing support and understanding as we continue to work with our new "normal" – We have seen some fantastic swimming over the last number of weeks in our lessons so we just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to everyone, YOU ARE ALL SUPERSTARS!!

In addition, we also wanted to give a MASSIVE shout out to the following swimming superstars:

Elise, who is a Little Dipper at The Key Health Club, was nominated by her teacher Nikola:

"Elise has always tried her best at swimming and I love seeing the big smile and excitement on her face when she arrives for her lesson. This week, Elise overcame her nervousness to put her whole face in the water and was then swimming beautifully aligned head down. This has been a long journey for us and (as with all my swimmers when they achieve these milestones), I got very emotional.

Keep going Elise, you’re a star! Your very proud teacher, Nikola x"

Niamh, who is in Level 2, Swim Academy at The Key Health Club was nominated by her teacher Rachael:

"She always listens well in her lessons and will answer questions. She really has a good go at everything I ask of her and as a result, she has achieved her 10m and is now ready for level 3. She is a pleasure to teach. Well done Niamh!"

Cleo, who is in Level 1, Swim Academy at The Key Health Club was nominated by her teacher Rachael:

"Cleo was incredibly nervous when she first joined us and didn't like putting her face in the water.

It now feels like she is a completely different swimmer - from putting her face in, having a go at everything and now starting to become more independent in the water. Her confidence has grown so much. A real super star!!"

Abigail, who is in Level 2, Swim Academy at The Key Health Club was nominated by her teacher Rachael:

"Abigail has been working really hard on her water confidence and in her first week in Level 2, she smashed her 10m distance swim. She always puts her hand up to answer questions and gets involved in the lesson. Her confidence keeps growing each week and it is a joy to watch her progress!"

Katya, who is a Dipper at The Key Health Club, was nominated by her teacher Alex:

"Katya has had a few confidence wobbles since coming back into the pool but with lots of fantastic, supportive encouragement from her dad, she is doing better every week. She is an absolute pleasure to teach and I have seen fab progress in her every lesson. I am a very proud teacher - well done Katya!"

Well done everyone, you are all absolute superstars!! X
