Swimming Stars of the Month - January

Congratulations to all our January swimming superstars!!

Every month, we ask our teachers to nominate their Swimming Stars of the Month so a massive congratulations to our super star swimmers for January!!

Marnie, who is a Kicker at The Hilton Hotel was nominated by her teacher Rebecca:

"I have taught Marnie since she was a tiny baby in Floaties and now at 17 months old she is full of personality. Marnie always has a smile on her face, will willingly put her face in the water, loves swimming on her back, is crazy at jumping and is always happy to be used to demonstrate to her friends in class, often volunteering herself! Quite frankly, she is an absolute star and I love watching her progression."

Matty, who is a Little Dipper at Your Space in Mansfield was nominated by his teacher Heather:

"Since moving to Little Dippers, Matty has been a little star and has mastered lots of different skills including woggle swimming, big splashy jumps and good listening! He has  really impressed me with how he has changed in the last few months and he has definitely become a child that can always give a good demonstration in class!"

Rosa, who is a Dipper at The Key Health Club was nominated by her teacher Rebecca:

"One word - WOW!! Rosa came to me after having a little dip in her confidence. She was a little reserved in her first lesson but she certainly isn’t now. There’s lots of smiles, lots of chatting to me and lots of amazing swimming, in fact Rosa got her 5m distance swim just a couple of weeks ago. Rosa is an absolute delight to teach and most importantly, Mum enjoys lots of precious happy moments with her (as do I)."

Nia, who is in Swim Academy at The Portland Centre was nominated by her teacher Rebecca:

"Nia is great at listening to what is required of her and then putting that into her swimming. She has been with Puddle Ducks since she was a baby and since moving to Swim Academy she is flying through the levels. This is down to her listening and her swimming ability. In every lesson I know that she is giving it her all and trying her absolute best which is great. Keep up the good work Nia, you are becoming an amazing swimmer with a beautiful technique and I love teaching you."

Well done everyone - your Stars of the Month certificates will be on their way to you very shortly!
