From Bump to Beautiful Swimmer

💦From Bump to Beautiful Swimmer💦
Aww it is the end of an era as Iona had her last class with us on Saturday. Iona joined her first Puddle Ducks class when she was in the womb! Jenny her mum, joined our Aquanatal classes back in July 2013 and has attended every Puddle Ducks and Swim Academy programme level since.
Here is what Jenny had to say about her Puddle Ducks journey ...
"Our journey with Puddle Ducks started 10 years ago with our oldest daughter, who joined little dippers at 3 ½ years old. She loved swimming from an early age and soon progressed to Swim Academy, where she quickly made friends with fellow swimmers.
When I was expecting our second child, a friend that I had made at Puddle Ducks, was pregnant at the same time and we decided that we would join Aquanatal classes, which was a great opportunity to make new friends and was some well needed me time! We all enjoyed our Aquanatal classes and after the birth of our babies we continued to meet up and share stories of the highs and lows of parent hood. We are still in touch with several of the mum and their not so little babies now, when they are all nearly 9!
Iona’s journey with Puddle Ducks started in Floaties, which she loved, and always slept well afterwards! Big breath bubbles became a key part of our bath-time! A real highlight was definitely her underwater photo shoot, the photos were amazing!
As she grew up, we continued to make friends through our Puddle Ducks lessons, who we shared many a lunch or get together with over the years!
I joined the Puddle Ducks family initially as a poolside assistant following the decision not to return to work after Iona was born, and before I knew it I was signed up to be a Swim Academy and Aquanatal teacher. The training was amazing and I loved teaching both the children and the mums to be. I, of course made some great friends whilst working for Puddle Ducks and was sad to move on to a different job.
Pyjama weeks were definitely a highlight, and we always had a laugh battling with the swimming cap! Friendships have also flourished, both for Iona and me, with some friendships that will continue for many years!
Iona has now come to the end of her swim academy journey, which is definitely the end of an era for us, we have loved every minute of it, and want to say thankyou to all the amazing staff and teachers at Puddle Ducks!"
Thank you for choosing Puddle Ducks, we will miss you 💙💙
