All you need to know – Newhall Farm Private Pool

We can’t wait to welcome you to Puddle Ducks at Newhall Farm – in the meantime, here’s some information that we hope you find useful. Have a splashtastic time!

Location: Newhall Farm

Parking: Free parking at the end of the long driveway, in the first or additional car park near the cattle shed. Please park close together to ensure that everyone can get parked.

  • Face coverings: While swimming pools aren't specifically mentioned in the list of indoor settings where face coverings are compulsory, we do fall into the category of 'indoor places where social distancing may be difficult and where you will come into contact with people you do not normally meet'. Therefore, we are making it a requirement for all of our customers to wear a face covering except when they are in the pool.
  • Please do not enter any other areas of the farm, this is a working farm with lots of machinery, animals and traffic
  • You will be asked to shower before entering the pool – there is a shower in one of the changing rooms on poolside. NOT IN USE AT PRESENT DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS. 
  • Strictly no eating or smoking on the grounds
  • A well-fitting neoprene swim nappy must be worn with a disposable swim nappy or one of our environmentally friendly NappyWraps & Liners underneath if your child is in Floaties, Splashers or Kickers and in other programmes if they are not potty/toilet trained.

Changing rooms: There are 4 large cubicled changing rooms, an extra temporary one in the cloakroom (During Covid-19 restrictions). There is also room for changing in the shower room on poolside. 

Exclusivity: Puddle Ducks have exclusive use at all times.

Access: Spectators can sit poolside, but please keep this to a minimum due to the noise level and space available. SORRY BUT DUE TO SOCIAL DISTANCING, SPECTATORS ARE NOT PERMITTED AT THE MOMENT.

  • Pool temperature: 30-32°C
  • Poolside assistant: We have a poolside assistant at all Baby and Pre-school classes.
  • Depth: 1.2m throughout
  • Maximum class ratios:
    • 6 children/adult pairs:1 teacher (Floaties, Splashers & Kickers)
    • 6 children/adult pairs:1 teacher (Little Dippers & Dippers)
    • 6 children: 1 teacher (Swim Academy)
