Covid-19 Measures

Please click on the pools below to view all of the covid measures that are being taken. Most pools have a video walk through so that you know what things will look like when you arrive. Please also take note of the following reminders:

  • Please where a face covering when entering the pool building and changing rooms (unless medically exempt).
  • All customers are responsible for their own social distancing. Please be mindful of those around you in the pool and in the changing rooms. 
  • There are no spectators at any pool at the moment. This includes siblings who swim back to back. One child will need to wait in the car with an adult while the other child is in the pool with another adult. 
  • Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before your class.
  • Please use the NHS Test and Trace app to scan the QR code when you arrive.
  • Whilst waiting poolside for your class to start, please be mindful of the noise level so that the class taking place is not disrupted. 
  • Please bring a changing mat with you as we are no longer able to provide these.
  • If you would like to purchase your own equipment to bring to the class, you are able to do so. We have put together some bundles which you can purchase here.
    • Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before your class. 
    • Scan the NHS test and trace QR code at reception and sanitise your hands before entering.
    • You and your child should arrive swim-ready where possible i.e. with your swimming costume/trunks/swim nappy on underneath your clothes. 
    • Changing rooms are in use. Please bring a padlock with you for the lockers. 
    • When changed, please head into the pool hall and wait against the wall near the jacuzzies until the teacher calls you over. 
    • There is a one-way system around the pool, so please ensure that you follow this when entering and exiting the swimming pool. 
    • Showers are in use at this facility as there is sufficient space in the changing rooms for everyone to socially distance.

    • Please park in the community car park to the right hand side of the school and follow the path round the tennis courts to enter the pool building. 
    • Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before your class. 
    • Scan the NHS test and trace QR code and sanitise your hands when entering the pool building.
    • The toilets are located by the entrance of the pool building. Please use these before the class if needed.
    • You and your child should arrive swim-ready where possible i.e. with your swimming costume/trunks/swim nappy on underneath your clothes. 
    • Head straight into the pool hall and stand on a spot. Please ensure that you stay on these spots and please ensure that these stay on the floor and aren't played with by and children.
    • Please get yourselves ready at the poolside and place all your belongings in one bag.
    • There is a one-way system around the pool, so please ensure that you follow this when entering and exiting the swimming pool. 
    • When the teacher calls you over, please take all of your belongings with you and place them in the designated spaces. 
    • After the class, please grab your belongings and head to the changing rooms.
    • Showers are not in use at this facility as these aren't being cleaned by our staff. We also need to encourage customers to get dressed and leave as quickly as possible to allow the poolside assistant to clean the changing rooms. 
    • Please note, that due to the ventilation in the changing rooms, these can get a bit chilly, so please ensure that you wrap your little ones up in a towel or dressing gown before entering the changing rooms. 
    • For Levels 3 & 4, parents much wait outside of the pool building whilst the class is taking place. You will be able to enter the pool hall 5 minutes before the end of the class to collect your children. Please wait at the poolside by the wall where the changing rooms are located when collecting your children.

    • Please ensure that you park in the marked bays only.
    • Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before your class. 
    • Scan the NHS test and trace QR code and sanitise your hands when entering the pool building.
    • The poolside assistant will let you in and mark you off the register.
    • Please leave your shoes on the bench at the entrance - the poolside assistant will let you know which bench is for your class. 
    • The toilets are located by the entrance of the pool hall. Please use these before the class if needed.
    • You and your child should arrive swim-ready where possible i.e. with your swimming costume/trunks/swim nappy on underneath your clothes. 
    • Head straight into the pool hall and stand on a spot. Please ensure that you stay on these spots and please ensure that these stay on the floor and aren't played with by and children.
    • Please get yourselves ready at the poolside and place all your belongings in one bag.
    • There is a one-way system around the pool, so please ensure that you follow this when entering and exiting the swimming pool. 
    • When the teacher calls you over, please take all of your belongings with you and place them in the designated spaces. 
    • After the class, please grab your belongings and head to the changing rooms.
    • Showers are not in use at this facility as these aren't being cleaned by our staff. We also need to encourage customers to get dressed and leave as quickly as possible to allow the poolside assistant to clean the changing rooms. 
    • Please do not use the beds in the changing rooms as these are not being cleaned by our staff. 
    • There is a maximum capacity of 6 parent/child pairs in the changing rooms. Please queue up outside the changing rooms if this capacity is reached. You are able to start changing little ones at the poolside whilst you wait. 
    • For Level 3 & 4 classes, parents will need to wait outside of the pool building whilst the class is taking place. You can enter the poolside 5 minutes before the class ends to collect your children. Please stand on the spots outside of the changing rooms whilst waiting for the lesson to end.

    • Please ensure that you park in the marked bays only. If the car park is busy, the overflow car park will be opened. 
    • Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before your class. 
    • Scan the NHS test and trace QR code and sanitise your hands when entering the pool building.
    • Please remove your shoes before entering the changing rooms.
    • You and your child should arrive swim-ready where possible i.e. with your swimming costume/trunks/swim nappy on underneath your clothes. 
    • Please get your little ones dressed as quickly as possible in the changing rooms and head straight to the poolside taking all your belongings with you.
    • Please do not change your babies at the poolside (this is a change to what is on our video run through). You are able to remove your outer clothes at the poolside only. Nappies need to be changed in the changing rooms. 
    • When at the poolside, stand on a spot. Please ensure that you stay on these spots and please ensure that these stay on the floor and aren't played with by and children.
    • Please be mindful of your noise level at the poolside as there is quite an echo in the pool hall which may disrupt the class that is taking place. 
    • Please get yourselves ready at the poolside and place all your belongings in one bag.
    • When the teacher calls you over, please take all of your belongings with you and place them against the wall. 
    • After the class, please grab your belongings and head to the changing rooms.
    • Showers are not in use at this facility as these aren't being cleaned by our staff. We also need to encourage customers to get dressed and leave as quickly as possible to allow the staff to clean the changing rooms. 
    • There is a maximum capacity of 6 parent/child pairs in the changing rooms. Please queue up outside the changing rooms if this capacity is reached.

    • Please ensure that you park in the correct lane otherwise you will be blocked in by the next class. All cars must reverse park into the lane (please do not reverse in through the gates, as there is sufficient space for you to turn around in the driveway) 
    • Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before your class. If you are early, please do not wait on the road as this is a breach of the council planning permission. There is a car park at the bottom of New Road where you can wait. 
    • Scan the NHS test and trace QR code and sanitise your hands when entering the pool building.
    • Please remove your shoes before entering.
    • The toilets are located by the pool building entrance. Please use these facilities before your class if needed. 
    • You and your child should arrive swim-ready where possible i.e. with your swimming costume/trunks/swim nappy on underneath your clothes. 
    • Please head straight to the poolside to get yourselves ready for your class.
    • When at the poolside, stand on a spot. 
    • Please be mindful of your noise level at the poolside as there is quite an echo in the pool hall which may disrupt the class that is taking place. 
    • Place all your belongings in one bag and then place them in the bucket that is on your spot. Please leave the bucket there and the poolside assistant will move these to the changing rooms for you. (Please note that this is slightly different to what in our video walkthrough). 
    • After the class, please head straight to the changing rooms.
    • Showers are not in use at this facility as these aren't being cleaned by our staff. We also need to encourage customers to get dressed and leave as quickly as possible to allow the staff to clean the changing rooms.

    • Please use the entrance marked "deliveries and gymnasium and swimming pool" to enter the car park.
    • Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before your class. 
    • Scan the NHS test and trace QR code and sanitise your hands when entering the pool building.
    • Please remove your shoes before entering the pool hall.
    • You and your child should arrive swim-ready where possible i.e. with your swimming costume/trunks/swim nappy on underneath your clothes. 
    • Please head straight to the poolside and stand on a spot to get yourselves ready for your class.
    • Please be mindful of your noise level at the poolside as there is quite an echo in the pool hall which may disrupt the class that is taking place. 
    • Place all your belongings in one bag and then place them against the wall
    • After the class, please head straight to the changing rooms.
    • For children in Levels 3 & 4, parents must wait outside of the pool building whilst the classes are taking place. Please then wait in the hallway at the end of the lesson and the teacher will bring the children out to you. 
    • Showers are not in use at this facility as these aren't being cleaned by our staff. We also need to encourage customers to get dressed and leave as quickly as possible. 
    • Levels 1 & 2 classes can use the changing rooms located downstairs.
    • Levels 3 & 4 can use the changing rooms located upstairs.
