The M Festival St. Albans
Saturday 6th July 2019
Back in 2010 a small group of parents and staff from The Marlborough Science Academy came together to build on the idea of hosting a music festival as a PTA fundraising event. With a small stage and audience and just a handful of performers, the festival just about broke even.
9 years later and the very same team with the help of further volunteers have established M Festival as a fantastic annual event that has now raised in excess of £86,000 for the school. Things have changed slightly since 2010 and with 2 large outdoor stages, better sound, more entertainment, lighting, pyrotechnics, activities, food & drink and a firework finale, M Festival has come along way and now attracts over 3000 people annually.
The festival takes place on the grounds of The Marlborough Science Academy in St Albans.
Parking is charged at £5 per vehicle for guaranteed spaces. Cars can be left overnight on the 6th July and must be collected by Midday Sunday 7th July. Parking will also be available to purchase on the day but spaces will be limited.
All profits raised from the festival goes straight back into the PTA fund for the benefit of students at Marlborough!
The event opens at 1:30pm this year with a fireworks and laser finale at 11:30pm!Learn more
