We are really pleased to announce that Becky been voted as our Teacher of the Term for Spring 2018!
Each term we invite our swimmers and their families to nominate their favourite teacher and enter them into our Teacher of the Term competition. This is an opportunity for our families to let us know if they feel that their teacher has gone out of their way to make their child either feel special, progress in the water or overcome barriers to their swimming.
A great big thank you to Jane from St Richard's Hospice who had the very difficult job of judging the nominations and choosing the one that she felt had the most impact.
Here is Becky's winning nomination:
“Becky never fails to impress me week after week. She is calm, supportive and friendly for every part of every lesson. Saturdays at Barnt Green must be long, tiring days and yet she is bubbly at the start of the day and towards the end (we haven’t experienced the very end but I’m sure she is). She alllows each child their chance to shine and her impressive knowledge of everyone’s strengths and weaknesses ensure each individual makes progress every lesson. Both of our children adore her and our toddler wants to do better each week to make her proud. I think that in itself speaks volumes. We owe her a debt of gratitude already as our babies love water and will have confidence and skills forever due to her patience, perseverance and kindness. ”
Jessica, Bertie and Trixie's Mummy.
Thank you to each of you that took the time to send through your nominations telling us why you have chosen each teacher and what they mean to you and your little ones.
All your nominations and feedback are provided to the teachers and really do mean a lot to the whole team.
