Poolside assistant: There is a Puddle Ducks Poolside Assistant at this venue
Parking and access: There is ample free parking immediately outside of the venue. There is an access code on the door, but our Poolside assistant will be available to let you in when you arrive.
ESSENTIAL INFORMATION
- This fabulous purpose-built eco pool is situated on a chicken farm! Please follow the signs to the pool when you arrive.
- Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before the start of your lesson.
- There is limited space for pushchairs and car seats so please don’t bring them inside the pool building. Thank you.
- There are no nappy bins at this venue so please take your nappy home with you.
- No food is permitted on the poolside or in the changing rooms, please save your child’s snack until after you have left the pool.
Changing
- Please arrive swim-ready, ie with swimwear on beneath your clothes. Before the lessons, you will be asked to change poolside, so please bring only the essentials (keeping valuables to a minimum) and one waterproof bag to put everything in, which will be left poolside. If you have a baby, please bring a changing mat for them that can be rolled up and placed in your bag, especially those of you who would normally use a changing table or a bench.
- After lessons, changing rooms will be available.
- Baby and pre-school: You will exit the pool, collect your bag and move to the changing rooms.
- Swim Academy: Parents should return to the poolside area at this point to collect their child to assist with changing.
- Important: The last class of the session will have access to one changing room only, so half of the class will continue to change poolside. This will alternate each week. If you are in this class, you may wish to bring a large towel or poncho for modesty while changing, and be prepared for a quick change.
Spectators
- All classes - One spectator per child is allowed in the viewing area.
- If you require assistance due to a disability (either your own disability or your child’s), then you are able to bring a spectator poolside to any class, to help as necessary.
Attire
- Baby and Pre-School: a well-fitting neoprene swim nappy must be worn with a disposable swim nappy or an environmentally friendly Nappy Wrap & Liner underneath, if your child is not yet fully potty/toilet trained. We recommend one of our great value Baby Swimming Kits, which contain the swim lesson essentials at a fantastic price.
- All Swim Academy children must wear swim hats in the pool. We provide a complimentary swim hat when you join us. You can find our range of goggles and other Swim Accessories in our online shop.
