It doesn’t matter if you are a biological parent, adoptive parent, foster parent, or any other type of parent, there is no denying the pride and love you feel for your child. Whether it’s something they have done or said or just the fact that they are your child it isn’t hard as a parent to feel overwhelmingly proud. Combine that with a love of the same interests be it a sport, hobby or family tradition and it can really be something to bring out a real sense of pride.

Hobbies are skill-building activities that relax and inspire you from childhood into adult life, in fact, a good one is downright therapeutic for children and adults alike. Teacher Kayleigh from the Puddle Ducks Derbyshire franchise knows only too well how swimming can become a love to pass along to your children. Kayleigh said that ever since she was a little girl, swimming was always something that was part of her week, and then eventually, almost daily routine.

Playing in the pool or at the beach is one of the great joys for our little one’s when on holiday, our Puddle Ducks learn every week about life preserving skills along with a love of water to help build those holiday memories safely.
