Customer Care Assistant (Sales)
Due to a growing business we’re recruiting a part-time Customer Care Assistant (Sales) to join our friendly team!
Customer Care is foremost in this role, we strive to ensure that our customers feel welcome and looked after during every step of their Puddle Ducks journey.

Main responsibilities include:
- Become an expert about our classes and Puddle Ducks;
- Responding to new enquiries (online, Email and telephone) in a timely manner to convert into Puddle Ducks class members by effectively communicating with them about our award-winning classes;
- Schedule and undertake follow up calls with new members at the start of their Puddle Ducks journey;
- Maintain accurate customer/member information and databases;
- Respond to queries from current members;
- Proactively manage any actual or potential customer issues;
- Contributing towards creating a ‘best in class’ customer care environment, ensuring the customer’s experience of Puddle Ducks office and in lessons is second to none; and
- Go the "extra mile" to give new/potential customers a great experience and a positive first impression of the business;
- Any other ad hoc administrative tasks to support the team as required.
Key skills required:
- Proven sales background (essential);
- The ability to “think outside the box”;
- A self- starter with proven experience of working autonomously;
- A personable and friendly telephone manner;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Organised & customer service focused;
- A problem solver and a good listener;
- Attention to detail; and
- Team player and passionate about what they do
Being a self-starter is essential as you will be responsible for working autonomously.
This role is for 10 hours per week over 5 days- ideally Monday- Thursday early evenings and Saturday mornings.
The role is home- based so a suitable home office environment is essential. However, you may be required to carry out some duties from the poolside and at other venues such as team meetings, conferences or presentations. The candidate will be expected to be proactive and develop this new role.
Pay rate - £12.00 per hour
