Our swimmers and their families are amazing!!
Thank you so much to everyone who took part in our Charity Pyjama week and donated or raised sponsorship money.
We are delighted to announce that we have raised a MASSIVE £905 (+£167 Gift Aid) for our fabulous charity partner, The Lullaby Trust.
This is an incredible amount which will really go such a long way in providing much needed support for families. Every week in the UK, nine babies die suddenly and unexpectedly. The Lullaby Trust's expert advice and research has empowered families for decades, saving over 30,000 babies’ lives. But we won't stop until no baby dies suddenly or unexpectedly.
Here are some example of how the money raised can help others:
- £25 could pay for 7 Safer Sleep for Babies Guides for parents;
- £50 could pay for our bereavement helpline to support 2 first-time callers;
- £100 could pay to train 3 health professionals in safer sleep advice.
The tremendous support will give babies a safer start to life, and support grieving families through their darkest days.
