We are so pleased to share with you, one of our customers’ story who has been with us right from the beginning. Helen and her children Ethan, Florence and Genevieve are all swimming with Puddle Ducks. We have been teaching Ethan for almost 8 years now, since he was just 1 month old in our Floaties Class!
“Our Puddle Ducks journey began eight years ago now with my eldest child, Ethan. Teaching our children to swim from an early age was always a priority for us and Puddle Ducks offered a wide variety of classes to choose from. Swimming quickly became our favourite thing to do each week, both Ethan and I felt like we had had a workout and he slept for hours afterwards which was always a bonus! Ethan, like all my three children, quickly showed us that in fact he was part human, part fish and in many ways, this presented just as many challenges as a child who doesn’t take to water so well.
I have always found the Puddle Ducks team to have a fantastic approach with my children, showing the right mix of discipline (especially where one troublesome toddler has been concerned) and fun. At times, we have been forced to try other swimming groups (because of clashes of timetables), but we always come swimming back as soon as we are able. Puddle Ducks teaches them the skills they need for safety and enjoyment, right from that early age.
Wherever we go in the world, people constantly ask us where our children learnt to swim and comment on their ability. We have at times had to reassure people that we aren’t watching our children drown, and have had to watch adults try to ‘rescue’ our toddler, only for them to see her throw herself back under water because she loves it and is practicing her ‘bubbles’.
They’re always amazed by their confidence and I am proud to shout out praises for our swimming group ‘Puddle Ducks’ because I genuinely believe, there is no better swimming class!”
