Teacher of the Term Summer 2018

Here’s who you have chosen as your Teacher of the Term Summer 2018! A huge well done to all our fantastic Teachers, but especially Daisy for taking the title! Read the fantastic winning nomination, below!

Daisy has won Teacher of the Term, Summer 2018

Thank you so much to Jade, Mummy to Olivia who is a Floatie at Abbey Court School in Strood. Here’s what they had to say:

“Daisy is really welcoming to all babies at floaties, spends time to get to know each and every baby and what they like doing and don’t like doing. Very adaptable in every lesson so she is able to support all babies. Olivia loves swimming and Daisy has helped build her confidence.”

The winning nomination was chosen by the lovely Amanda, who is the Mumpreneur behind Mums in Ashford, which offers exclusive discounts at local businesses for mums and mums to be in Ashford and the surrounding villages! Here’s what Amanda had to say…

“First thing to say is how difficult this choice has been - Puddle Ducks clearly has many fantastic and inspiring teachers helping little one's learn to swim.

After much deliberation, I have chosen the teacher of Olivia Gibson, not only because she is so welcoming to all of the children attending her lessons, which seems a common trait among the Puddle Ducks teachers, but because she is able to adapt her lessons to support everyone who attends, which is such an important skill for a teacher and, by doing so, gives the children, and their parents, invaluable confidence.”

We are so pleased for Daisy, and this recognition for her fantastic work as part of our team here at Puddle Ducks East Kent. Now that she has won our local Teacher of the Term competition, Daisy will now go through to the National competition… exciting!

Thank you to everyone who submitted a nomination, we’ve loved reading them, and it’s so nice to see that our hard work really has paid off this Summer!
