Baby & Pre-School swimming lessons available
All you need to know about Ramsgate Leisure Centre: A Ramsgate based swimming pool from which we run our Baby & Pre-School lessons. Midweek classes here are suitable for babies from birth and toddlers. Our expert swimming Teachers tailor the lessons to progress every individual at their own pace. Parking & Directions: There is pay and display parking at Ramsgate Leisure Centre. Customers must pay and display within the leisure centre grounds or risk a fine.

Essential Information
- A well-fitting neoprene swim nappy must be worn with a disposable swim nappy or one of our environmentally friendly NappyWraps & Liners underneath if your child is in Floaties, Splashers or Kickers and in other programmes if they are not yet fully potty/toilet trained. - All nappies and swim nappies must be taken home and not left at the pool. Nappy bags are provided by your Puddle Ducks Teacher, if needed.

Technical Information
- Pool Temp: 29°C - 31°C. Younger babies / toddlers may benefit from using a body-warmer when swimming here.
- Max Pre-School Class Ratios: 10 children/adult pairs: 1 teacher.
- Pool: Lessons will be taking place in the smaller, teaching pool.
Pool accessibility: Disabled Access is available via a ramp into the main reception area. The Teaching Pool has concrete steps that slope into the pool. In addition, a hoist is available to assist those customers into the teaching pool who find access difficult via the steps.
Spectators: There is space poolside for one family member or friend to watch these classes.
Changing Rooms: There are lots of individual changing cubicles as well as lockers.
Exclusivity: Puddle Ducks have exclusive use of the teaching pool during hire times. The main pool will remain open to the public during hire times.
Mobile Phones: Please remember that whilst it is fine to have your phones with you to take photos in Splash Time (as long as there are no other customers in the background), please do not use your phones in the changing rooms.
