No previous Swimming Teaching experience is necessary as full training will need to be undertaken, but basic qualifications will need to be achieved first, including STA Baby & Preschool / STA Level 2 Award (depending on which age group you would like to teach) and STA Award for Swimming Teachers & Coaches (STA STC) or RLSS National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches.
Clean Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check (conducted by Puddle Ducks).
Computer literate.
You need to be a competent swimmer (able to swim 25m and dive to the bottom of the pool).
Valid Driving Licence and use of own car is essential.

Excellent interpersonal & communication skills and a passion for children and for teaching.
Main Responsibilities:
Teaching Swimming Classes for babies and children from birth to four years / children aged between 4 - 10 years old.
Maintaining a safe and enjoyable experience for your customers.
Sharing a passion for baby and child swimming.
Loving every second of what you do!
Further in pool training will take place prior to qualification.

Baby & Pre School swimming teacher
Baby and preschool teachers teach babies and children a skill for life, build their water confidence and help them to have super fun-filled classes in the water! We are seeking someone full of enthusiasm to join our fantastic team, a passion for water, swimming and working with children is a must have.
No experience necessary as you will be fully trained, but any swimming teaching qualifications/experience would be a bonus. It is essential that you’re comfortable in the water and interacting with young children and their parents. There are a number of training courses that need to be undertaken to qualify as a Puddle Ducks teacher as well as co-teaching with our existing teachers.

Swim Academy teacher
Swim Academy teachers teach our primary school aged children to swim beautifully and develop a love for swimming for life. We are seeking someone fully of enthusiasm to join our fantastic team, teaching our popular Swim Academy classes. A passion for water, swimming and working with children is a must have.
