A little bit about me
I am married to my lovely husband Ricky and have two wonderful boys Ben and Jude and we live in Gloucester.
My role at Puddle Ducks Gloucestershire
I’ve worked for Puddle Ducks since February 2013 when I started as a Poolside Assistant. Then a year or so later a teaching opportunity came up, so I jumped at the chance (with a little nudge from Charlie) to teach baby and pre-school and I can honestly say I absolutely love it!!
I teach at two of our Cheltenham pools, Juvenate Health and Leisure Club and the National Star College.
What I like best about my job
I love teaching all the children and seeing their happy smiling faces in the pool and I love how it all comes together. There’s nothing more rewarding than when you see a child become more confident over time.
Jobs I have done in the past
Before joining Puddle Ducks Gloucestershire, I worked as an accounts assistant for 17 years at a Paper Merchant Company in Cheltenham.
My hobbies and interests
I love swimming (surprise surprise), going on bike rides, bowling, walks, eating out, cinema, catching up with friends, and I do like to get my bake on!
We love camping and our favourite place to camp is in St Ives in Cornwall and we all very much love going to Center Parcs.
My favourite book
My favourite book is Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine. It’s the most recent book I have read and it really made me belly laugh.
My favourite animal
My favourite animals are penguins. They’re just so amazing to look at and very cute. I could watch them all day.
My favourite food
My favourite food is most definitely chocolate...yum yum.
