This October, our little swimmers can get involved and raise money by learning water safety and survival skills, dressed in their favourite pyjamas. This year we have chosen to raise money for the amazing charity; The Christie Charity.
Every year for one week, Puddle Ducks Greater Manchester organises the Pyjama (PJ) Week and invites all of its little swimmers and parents to swap their swimming costumes for their pyjamas. The children are encouraged to collect sponsors and raise money for our chosen charity whilst learning water safety and survival skills whilst swimming in their clothes.
This year our Charity PJ Week will take place from 14th - 20th October and we've decided to support The Christie Charity as they are a charity with close ties to our Puddle Ducks Greater Manchester team. The Christie Charity raises money for a range of projects and initiatives for their patients with a focus on crucial cancer research, care and treatment, education and extra patient services including art therapy, counselling and wig fitting services.
