Sally and Sarah from our Puddle Ducks Greater Manchester team took our fluffy friend Puddle the Duck to visit all the children at Kiddiwinks Day Nursery and they had a FANTASTIC TIME teaching the little ones all about water safety!!
During this day the children took part in a very special ‘dry’ lesson where they talked about their own experiences swimming and they learned all about how to be safe in the water. Sally and Sarah then showed the children how to use their arms and legs to splash and kick to help them to swim really fast.
All the children got to try out our swimming techniques including ‘Crocodile’, ‘Frog’ (breaststroke arms) and ‘Lion’ (reaching arms). Everyone also had tons of fun singing lots of our Puddle Ducks songs which we use in our lessons including Three Puddle Ducks Went Swimming One Day and All the Puddle Ducks Sitting By The Water.
As our visit drew to a close, each child then had a big cuddle from Puddle the Duck and they were given their own special Puddle Ducks certificate and goody bag to take home.
