Choosing a winning nomination
Nominations this term were judged by Ruth Williams, who runs Tameside's Little Gems.

The winning nomination
The winning nomination came from Jessica's mum, who swims at our Aqua Nurture pool in Gee Cross.
Jessica had a difficult transition to level 4 and at times completely refused to go as struggles with change. She was completely lacking in confidence. After talking to Mia, she really worked with her to first get her back in the pool, then got her swimming again and now a few months later she is back to making progress. I was almost at the point of giving up which I'd have been gutted about as she's been going since 3 months old, but thanks to Mia, Jessica's back to enjoying swimming again. Thank you so much Mia!"
This term's wonderful winning nomination will now be sent on to our Head Office to be entered into the National Puddle Ducks Star Teacher award, good luck Mia!
