Choosing a winning nomination
Nominations this term were judged by Leona Osondu, who runs Bloom Baby Classes in Tameside and Glossop.
Leona comments: "Thank you for letting me judge the competition, it was so lovely reading all the amazing nominations! It was such a hard decision choosing one. I’ve chosen this one as the winning one as it really stood out as it shows the difference this teacher makes that they are driving a real distance to the lessons!"

The winning nomination
The winning nomination came from Ava's mum, Lyndsey, who swims at our Aqua Nurture pool in Gee Cross.
"Ava adores these lessons - she tells me that Jo is ‘my friend and really nice’. From an adult perspective, I think that Jo is an excellent teacher - very intuitive when working with kids, taking everything at their speed and making the activities fun. Her lessons have really boosted Ava’s confidence and I see improvements most weeks. We drive quite a distance to make the lesson but it’s definitely worth it."
This term's wonderful winning nomination will now be sent on to our Head Office to be entered into the National Puddle Ducks Star Teacher award, good luck Jo!
