Our Floaties (0-6 months) classes are perfect for babies who are ready to discover the sensations of the water. During these classes, you have lots of time to really focus on your babies one-on-one. It’s a lovely way to bond and relax with your children whilst they learn to be comfortable in and around the water.

The water is an environment like no other, particularly in a baby’s first twelve months. It allows them to develop crucial higher brain functions, core muscle development and co-ordination far earlier than their non-swimming friends.

Direct eye and skin contact present a wonderful way to bond with your baby. You will also be able to interact and bond with other parents with children of a similar age.

Regular swimming creates an improved eating and sleeping pattern.

As your baby experiences his or her first gentle submersion, this will present independence. Of course all of our classes are child led, no child will be forced to do an activity they do not want to do. Should your child not like to put their head into the water, your teacher will create a plan for you and your child so they can be eased into this activity.
