Location: Vestacare Hydro
Parking: There is ample free on street parking on adjacent roads
Essential Information:
- Please go directly to the changing rooms to change, once changed please go to poolside and wait in the spectator area until called over by the teacher.
- No outdoor shoes poolside, parents should ensure their children walk safely to the spectator area and then walk around to the spectator area
- To avoid congestion in the changing rooms please don’t enter the changing rooms more than 15 minutes before your class and please exit within 15 minutes of the end of your class
- You will be asked to shower before entering the pool – there are a number of showers in the changing rooms
- To keep the facilities nice and fresh no nappy bins are available – please take your nappies home in a nappy sack
- No snacks or drinks are permitted in the changing rooms

A well fitting neoprene swim nappy must be worn with a disposable swim nappy or one of our environmentally friendly Nappy Wraps & Liners underneath if your child is in Floaties, Splashers or Kickers and in other programmes if they are not potty/toilet trained
- You can buy one of our great value Starter packs which contain everything you need for your swim lesson
- Changing Rooms: There are two communal areas available or changing, one containing lockers, and also a disabled changing area - to ensure privacy for all customers, we ask that male customers use the disabled changing area please.
Exclusivity: Puddle Ducks has exclusive use of the pool during Puddle Ducks lesson times.
Access: Access to the pool is via the changing rooms and there is limited space for spectators. Only 1 spectator per child is permitted poolside and we request that they vacate poolside 5 minutes prior to the end of the class in order to avoid congestion.

Closest café
Boggart Hole Clough is a large park next door to Vestacare. There is a café within the ground of the park which serves a variety of family-friendly meals and snacks. Alternatively, there are two cafes serving a variety of food at Heaton Park, a short drive from Vestacare.
Closest play park
Boggart Hole Clough in on the doorstep of Vestacare and offers a children’s play area as well as a boating lake and great footpaths for walks.
Alternatively, Heaton Park is a short drive from Vestacare in Blackley at which there is a substantial children’s play area which is being completely refurbished for Summer 2016. There is also animal centre and tram within the park which are perfect for entertaining small children.
