Congratulations to Kelly - National Teacher of the Term!!

Congratulations to Kelly - who has won the Puddle Ducks National Teacher of the Term Award!!

Our very own Kelly, who lives in Northwich, has won the Puddle Ducks National Teacher of the Term Award, voted for by her little swimmers and due to her outstanding work teaching Baby and Pre-school swimming lessons.

Kelly, who has been teaching for Puddle Ducks since 2013, at Delamere, Warrington and Sandbach was nominated due to her dedication, positivity and encouragement to the children she teaches. Kelly was voted for by Puddle Ducks’ customers, who all wanted to thank Kelly for all the enthusiasm, patience and support she gives to their children.

One delighted mum said: “My son, Ben, started with Puddle Ducks when he was 4 months old and enjoyed progressing through his classes. Kelly was patient, encouraging, friendly, yet firm. Ben wouldn't be as confident or love swimming so much without her.”

Kelly commented on her achievement, “I am overwhelmed to have been chosen as the National Teacher of the Term. I never thought I would ever be considered for the award, let alone win! Learning to swim is such an important skill to have, as we never know when we might find ourselves in danger around water.

“Children are at the centre of what we do, and I love being able to provide a fantastic experience to suit every child’s needs, whether they start off confident in the water, or not.”

Rachel Bateson, Franchise Manager, commented on Kelly’s award, “We are so glad Kelly is part of our team. She quickly builds a rapport with the children, nurturing their skills and boosting their self-confidence. All of the little swimmers look up to Kelly as a role model; she is a pleasure to work with and is so deserving of the award.”
