Kirsty is your Star Teacher for Autumn/Winter 2025! The winning nomination came from one of her Level 1 Swim Academy swimmers, Sebastian, whose mum, Charlotte, could not be prouder of the progress Seb has made under Kirsty's expert guidance!
This is what they had to say about the brilliant Kirsty: "I would like to nominate Kirsty for the Star Teacher.
Seb has been swimming with Kirsty for just over a year. When he started, he had no confidence in the water. With Kirsty's patience and persistence Seb has started to build his confidence. Within the last couple of weeks, he has fully participated in PJ week (and enjoyed himself), he has managed to start jumping in with support from standing and last week even managed a small swim.
Even though I don't get to speak to Kirsty, I can tell from the way she teaches she cares and roots for all the children! She has the best balance between being firm and kind and knows how to push the children in a way to get the most out of them.
Alongside Kirsty, Sasha is also amazing! They make a great team and together I really believe the can push Seb to achieve a 5m swim. They both go above and beyond, this week Seb received a 'well done' postcard which shows they care!"
The final winner, from almost 50 nominations, was chosen by Jen from MummyFIT Cheshire. She said: "I have chosen Kirsty! Kirsty embodies everything a Star Teacher should be — dedicated, passionate, and truly making a difference. I thought this nomination was a lovely, glowing review that had shown she has made a proactive difference."
