Thank you so much to all of our fabulous customers for our amazing support during our Charity PJ Week 2025! We have so far collected an incredible number of pairs of pyjamas, which will all be donated to our charity partner, Childrens Hospital Pyjamas, and distributed to children across the UK in hospitals, hospices, and women's refuges. Having something new and comfortable to wear that can make these children feel loved and special during such a turbulent time in their lives is a priceless gift, so thank you so much to everyone who was able to donate!
We also loved seeing all of our fantastic swimmers benefiting from PJ week too! The opportunity to swim whilst fully clothed allowed our children to recognise that, if an accident involving water does happen, they can still turn and swim back to the side, or float safely on their backs, even with the added weight of wet clothes. Our Swim Academy classes also had great fun rescuing each other and learning valuable lifesaving skills. Shout and signal rescues and throw rescues, where our swimmers remain safe on the side, are imperative life skills that they can use, even at the age of 4, to rescue someone in trouble in the water. As well as this, the in-water rescues that our older swimmers practice form a fantastic basis for Rookie Lifeguard training in the future!
