As an ex-competitive swimmer and lifeguard, swimming has always been a big part of Carolyn's life. After having her first son William, Carolyn decided to launch Puddle Ducks in the North East in 2010.
Carolyn now has over 1100 Puddle Ducks customers swimming in the North East including her own William and his little brother Jack!
Dani trained as a Puddle Ducks teacher in 2013 after having her son, Joshua. In 2015 Dani was promoted to the position of Business Manager and she now runs the Puddle Ducks North East office as well as overseeing the customer care team and managing our pool relationships.
Finance & Operations Manager
Harriet first joined us as a customer in 2013 when she took her little boy, Lucas to Floaties classes. She was then appointed as our Finance & Operations Manager the following year and has been with us ever since!
Harriet manages your payments, pays the bills and buys all the equipment you see at our pools. She also manages our brilliant team of Poolside Assistants.
Head of Teaching & Technical
Julie was one of our first customers when we launched in 2010 when she brought eldest child, Libby to Splashers classes. She loved Puddle Ducks so much she trained as a teacher soon after and was then promoted to Head of Teaching and Technical in 2013.
Julie teaches baby pre-school, swim academy, elite swim academy and aquanatal classes. She trains and manages the North East teaching team and also works for Puddle Ducks HQ as a Programme Assessor.
Claire first joined us as a Poolside Assistant when we launched in 2010. She then completed her teaching training in 2012 and was promoted to the position of Senior Teacher three years later.
Claire teaches baby and pre school classes, swim academy and elite swim academy. She is also our specialist submerging teacher for under water photo shoots.
Claire has two Puddle Ducks of her own - Anna and Natasha who both swim in our elite swim academy classes.
Charlotte is one of our longest serving members of staff having joined us as a Poolside Assistant six years ago.
Charlotte completed her teacher training in 2013 and has recently been promoted to the role of Senior Teacher. Charlotte teaches baby and pre-school and swim academy classes.
When she isn't in the pool, Charlotte is busy studying for a Masters Degree.
After graduating from University and training as a lifeguard, Nadine joined us as a Poolside Assistant in 2012. She then completed her teacher training and now teaches baby and pre-school, swim academy and aquanatal classes.
Nadine is often at the pool even on her days off because her nieces and nephews all swim with us!
Nicola starting working for us as a Poolside Assistant in 2014 then completed her teacher training the following year.
Nicola teaches baby and pre-school and swim academy classes and is also still our Poolside Assistant at Dryden school.
Nicola has her own Puddle Duck, Finn who has just graduated from our Swim Academy classes.
Lisa is one of most loyal customers having brought her eldest son, Sam to our classes since 2010. Lisa also attended our aquanatal classes when she was pregnant with her twins and now all three of her children swim with us!
Lisa started working for us as a baby and pre-school teacher in 2015 and now teaches at Percy Hedley school on Saturdays and Sundays.
Cara brought her eldest daughter, Rosalie to our Floaties classes in 2014 and soon joined the team as a Poolside Assistant. Cara completed her teacher training in 2015 and now teaches our weekend classes at Sunningdale and Beacon Hill alongside her week day job as a Senior Nursery Nurse.
Cara still swims with Rosalie and her newest addition - baby Riley!
Like many of our team, Kimberley first joined Puddle Ducks as a customer with her son, Thomas. Kimberley starting working for us as a Poolside Assistant in 2014 then completed her teacher training in 2016.
Kimberley now teaches our weekend baby and pre-school classes at Keelman's Way and Radisson as well as being one of our Beacon Hill Poolside Assistants.
Sam first joined us as an aquanatal customer when she was pregnant with her eldest child, Oscar in 2013. She then started working for us as a Poolside Assistant and completed her teacher training in 2016.
Sam teaches our baby and pre-school classes alongside her other job in an Accountancy firm. She also swims twice a week with Oscar and his little sister, Jasmine!
Rachael brought her son, Cas to our classes in 2014 and applied to become a teacher as soon as the opportunity came up!
Rachael now teaches our baby and pre-school classes at Mowden Hall and DW Fitness in Sunderland. She also swims at Woodlawn with Cas and her little girl, Clara.
Emily started working for us as a Poolside Assistant in 2015 and completed her teacher training the following year.
Emily teaches our baby and pre-school classes at Trinity School, Percy Hedley, Keelman's Way and Woodlawn. She was also the winner of the teacher of the term award for Autumn 2016 after being nominated by one of her very happy customers!
Emily has her own Puddle Duck, Poppy and a little Niece, Xanthe who both swim with us.
Victoria has three children (Oliver, Oscar and Heidi) who all swim with us. After being a customer for a number of years, Victoria started working for us as a Poolside Assistant in 2015 then completed her teacher training last year.
Victoria teaches our baby and pre-school classes at Percy Hedley on Thursdays and Castle View Academy on Sundays.
Teacher & Customer Care Executive
Caroline first brought her daughter, Imogen to our Floaties classes in 2011 and completed her teacher training the following year.
Caroline now teaches our baby and pre-school classes at Josephine Butler campus in Ashington on Sundays and works in the Puddle Ducks North East office during the week. If you contact the office via telephone or e-mail it is Caroline who deals with your enquiries on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays!
Imogen has now graduated to our Elite Swim Academy but Caroline still swims with Imogen's little sister, Sophie.
Customer Care & Marketing Executive
Kiera joined our office team in 2016 after swimming with us for a number of years as a customer with her son, Gray.
Kiera works in the Puddle Ducks office three days per week dealing with all your phone calls, e-mails and enquiries. Kiera also produces all of our marketing reports and manages our social media accounts.
When she's not at work you might bump into Kiera at the pool watching Gray in our swim academy classes or in the pool with her one year old daughter, Bronte!
Customer Care Executive
Amy joined our office team last year and deals with all your phone calls, e-mails and class bookings.
Amy also looks after our Facebook messages so if you have ever contacted us via our Facebook page, it is usually Amy who will respond to you!
Although she doesn't work at the pools, Amy often joins us for a splash with her one year old son, Archie!
Linda joined the poolside team two years ago when her grandsons were swimming with us.
Linda works at Durham Trinity on Wednesdays, at Oxclose Academy on Fridays and at Keelman's Way school on Saturdays.
In her spare time Linda is a star baker and makes amazing celebration cakes. Any Puddle Ducks cakes you have seen at our parties and events have all been made by Linda.
Gillian is the newest member of our team having just started working for us this year.
Gillian works at Keelman's Way on Sundays, she is also the Mum of our Poolside Assistant, Harriet!
Isla is a perfect match for Puddle Ducks as she is a competitive swimmer! She is also studying hard for her A levels.
Isla works at Trinity school in Durham on Saturdays and at Beacon Hill in Wallsend on Sundays.
Bethaney is currently studying for a degree in early years and childhood studies at Northumbria University. Her work at Puddle Ducks is building the perfect foundation for her future career as she plans to train as an early years teacher.
Like most of the team, Bethaney is a keen swimmer. She also has young nieces who keep her busy!
Colin lives in Cheshire and has been the Puddle Ducks underwater photographer since we launched in 2010. Colin runs our underwater photo shoots three times a year in the North East and has photographed hundreds of little ones over the years. He has also taken all of the underwater images that are used in our advertising.
When he isn't under the water you will find Colin on the slopes because he is a keen skier!
