đź‘Ź Our Star Teacher for Spring 2025 is ........ Lizzi!!! đź‘ŹWe often say that we have the #bestjobintheworld and the nominations that we have received for this award are an absolute testament to that, thank you everyone!
A huge congratulations to Lizzi for her winning nomination, which was selected by one of our local pool owners and a huge thank you to Theo, who is in Level 2 Swim Academy at The Portland Centre and his mum Dawn for taking the time to send us their nomination:
"We’d like to nominate Lizzi - she just gets it! She knows exactly what each child needs, how to make them thrive and enjoy every second of their lesson with her.
Theo loves her and he would not be progressing like he is without her nurturing style. He had a wobble a few weeks ago when he was poorly at his lesson and we weren’t sure if he would get back in the pool but I never should have doubted it with Lizzi there - she knew how to reassure him and he’s back and progressing better then ever.
Lizzi turned up unexpectedly at my eldest son’s school swimming lesson and he was so delighted it was the first thing he told us when got home! Thank you Lizzi - you make such a difference to my little man!"
Lizzi is now a contender for the national Puddle Ducks Star Teacher award – Good luck and many congratulations as this is very well deserved!
