Our Floaties lessons are the perfect introduction for you and your baby to the water. Half an hour of special bonding time, learning how to handle your little one in the pool, building trust and making some friends at the same time! We know all babies and their parents, grandparents or carers are different, so we make it our absolute priority to make sure we adapt everything we do to suit each and every one of our swimmers. That means it doesn’t matter in the slightest how confident you feel in the water – we’ll support you every step of the way.
The hydrotherapy pool at Maes Ebbw School is the ideal place to take small babies swimming. With a maximum of 6 in a class our teacher Susie will support you through every step of your Puddle Ducks journey.
Getting babies and children to be comfortable and confident under the surface of the water is a key part of their swimming journey. All our teaching methods are consistent with research developments in infant physiology and infant psychology and with technical advances in swimming. We work closely with Birthlight and the STA on the best and safest way to submerge children so that they feel empowered and never forced. The answer is simple, the child decides. We have spent many years developing progressive lesson plans that help develop children into swimmers from an early age. Our approach to swimming ensures that your child’s needs are expertly fulfilled and will nurture their confidence in the water.
During Puddle Ducks Baby & Pre-school lessons, our teachers adapt the activities to suit each child's individual needs. Our classes incorporate rhyme, music and movement based on extensive child development research.
When you sign up you pay for 10 lessons which costs £150. We are proud to offer a satisfaction guarantee where if for any reason you're not enjoying yourself, you can cancel and receive a refund of any remaining classes (as long as you let us know at least 48 hours before your 4th class)
