💦Remember to check where to park, how to access the pool and where to leave your buggy if it is the first time attending a lesson with us.
💦 Don't be in a rush, aim to arrive no more than 15 minutes before your lesson and try to leave by 15 minutes after your class to help avoid changing room congestion.
💦Pack plenty of swim nappies, a large bag for belongings and easy-to-wear clothes for changing. Take a towel poolside to wrap your child up as soon as they get out to keep them warm.
💦Be aware of any double nappy requirements (swim nappy and disposable or reusable nappy) in place at the pool if you child is in Floaties, Splashers or Kickers and in other programmes if they are not yet fully potty/toilet trained.
💦If your child is attending a Swim Academy class make sure they have a towel, goggles (these are optional) and a plastic bag for wet swimwear. They will also receive a Swim Academy cap from our team at their first lesson.
💦Make sure your child has a quick shower before entering the pool.
💦Thoroughly dry your child after swimming, especially ears to prevent infections and dry hair thoroughly, especially in colder months.
💦Don't push children too hard, especially if they are nervous; let them watch others and gradually build confidence.
💦Finally, have fun!!!
