The countdown is on to our Annual Charity Pyjama Week which will be taking place from October 14th - 20th. Make sure to mark those calendars!
During Charity Pyjama Week, we raise money for a nominated charity by asking our swimmers to collect sponsorship or make voluntary donations at our pools whilst they swim in their PJ's! We also raise awareness for #WaterSafety and #PersonalSurvivalSkills in and around water, whilst practising swimming in our clothes. We swim in our pyjamas, because if we were to fall into water by accident, we would be likely to have all of our clothes on - making it much harder to swim.
Last year we managed to raise a massive £2,901.91 for The Tiny Hearts Appeal at Barnsley Hospital Charity!
This year we have decided to raise money for The Children's Heart Surgery Fund as the vote last year for this worthy charity was just so close!!
