We are delighted to announce the winner of our 'Star Teacher' Award for Autumn 2019 is RACHEL CLEWES! 
Rachel recieved some lovely emails and nominations after sadly her classes at Momentum Leisure had to be suddenly stopped with very little notice due to the pool closing to be filled in. Rachel is loved by her customers and we do hope to have her back in the pool in Sheffield soon.
Lisa Williams from the Childrens Heart Surgery Fund had the very difficult task of choosing the winning nomination from everyone who nominated their favourite teacher and said “The reason for me choosing this nomination is I can see how much of a bond the teacher has created with both child and parent and overcome the child being clingy with Mum and making the parents feel they are easy to approach about any concerns”
The winning nomination was sent in by Ashleigh and Ben with baby Harper ...
"I would like to nominate Rachel who holds the classes at the Momentum Leisure. Me and my partner have taken our daughter Harper from being 8 weeks old and she is now 6 months old. Rachel is an excellent teacher and made my little girl, who can at times be clingy towards her mummy feel very relaxed whilst having her floaties lessons. She is so interactive with not only the children but the parents and no question is too silly to ask.
I feel Rachel deserves extra credit not only for how amazing she is as a teacher but just how she's handling the pool closure at Momentum Leisure. I saw real emotion on Saturday when she was saying goodbye to her classes (maybe not for the last time) but even so you can see just how much the children she teaches mean to her"
